Playhouse: Part 9

Finally, I got around to finish the outside of the playhouse by installing the plexiglass to the windows. The search is finally over. I got lucky (as much as this phrase finds application in this project) in the K-Rauta in Lahti. After a quick and fruitless visit in the Etola outlet in Lahti (which doesn’t have plexiglass at all unlike the one in Helsinki) and wasting some precious time at the specialty store for plastic sheets aka Kalustemuovi Virtala which closed for summer vacation, home depot market K-Rauta came to the rescue. They had 1000×1000 polycarbonate sheets of 3mm thickness for some 35 Euro. Just what I needed.

Also new are the two little benches on the terrace of the playhouse. Essential stuff for all those kiosk customers…
