Playhouse: Part 4

July 4, 2012

Some see a pile of wood, some see some roof beams! I mentioned earlier this week that I’m thinking of whether to find good use for the middle slice of the logs. It didn’t take much thinking to decide to cut those pieces as well into three further pieces of 65x67mm, another thing I don’t need to buy for the playhouse.

I had to buy some 100 mm screws to attach the roof beams. Also on the shopping list were protective paint for the logs and some additional hardware necessary to attach the floor beams.

The roof boards also found already there place. The roof boards are left-over pieces from the villa. They were supposed to be window covering boards and now they found a good reason to exist. Thanks to my trusted pneumatic nail gun that pieces of work was as easy as pie.

Now the whole thing really starts looking like a house…
