Playhouse: Part 2

Day 2 of the Playhouse Build. I didn’t quite make the progress I wanted. I’m only half way through assembling the logs.

The cutting of the log joints takes longer than I thought. First I need to make 16, 60 mm deep cuts (2 for each joint) of each log with table saw. And then I need to cut out the rest with the jigsaw. Adding to the insult the fact that the logs are between 65.5 and 67.5 mm thick, it takes much more time to get a decent fit of each joint. Well, it’s summer and there is plenty of time besides all that bike riding, swimming, boat rowing, eating and sleeping…
